Graduate Studies

The Brazilian Center for Research in Physics hosts one of the most traditional graduate programs in Physics in Brazil. Created in 1962, the program now counts about 100 students from all over Brazil, from various countries in South America, and other continents. Nearly all institutions of higher education in Physics in Brazil have a CBPF graduate on their faculty.

All lines of research at CBPF, both experimental and theoretical, offer an opportunity for students who wish to apply for M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees. Foreign students can apply for scholarships offered by CBPF through the main Brazilian Funding Agencies.
