Henrique Saitovitch

Graduate in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1966), Master in Physics at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (1973) and Ph.D. in physics from the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (1979). He is currently a senior researcher at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics. Has experience in the area of Nuclear Physics and Condensed Matter, with emphasis on Equation of State, Phase Equilibria and Phase Transitions, mainly acting on topics concerned with Hyperfine Interactions on solid systems -here included nanosystems- measured by the Angular Correlation nuclear spectroscopy: intermetallics, catalysers, ceramics. Presently, has extended the investigation activities concerning: measurements of propagation speeds of electromagnetic radiation 511KeV in different material media; questions regarding the "entanglement" subject via experiments with polarized gamma radiation.
